I realized that I haven't talked much about Barefoot Books parties here, so I thought I'd share what I love about them:

• They're a great way to earn FREE Barefoot Books products and to share them with others who may be Barefoot uninitiated.
• The format is completely flexible.  Looking for an excuse to get your friends together without the kids?  Host an evening party.  Need something fun for parents to do during a playdate?  Host a party during the day.  They can even be done as a fundraiser for your favorite school or nonprofit organization.
• They give you and your guests an opportunity to see the newest Barefoot Books products - as well as the classics - in a fun and relaxed environment.

June Nonprofit of the Month

I'm excited to annouce that To Love a Child is my June nonprofit of the month! TLC provides humanitarian assistance to impoverished children and their families throughout the world to help create a better future and quality of life for all. At project sites in Haiti, Zimbabwe, and the U.S., To Love a Child works with community leaders to identify projects that will be most beneficial to the people, and collaborates with academics, churches, and other organizations to provide the most practical, sustainable, and long-term methods for projet development. Through their work, desperately poor children receive nutritious food, clean drinking water, medical care, educational supplies, solar power for education, spiritual support, love and friendship so vital to growing up healthy in mind, body and spirit.

Twenty percent of my June online sales will be donated to this wonderful organization.
